UFO Daze 2004

Thanks to all those who attended and helped make this year the success it was.

 

UFO Daze 2004 came with its very own sighting.  Below is a short synopsis thus far:

Preliminary data points to a single Unidentified apparently Flying apparently Object of some nature being sighted between the times of 11:00 p.m. and midnight of July 17th, 2004 in the immediate area of Benson's Hideaway.  Multiple witnesses appeared to be present at the time of sighting.  Current data is lacking in great detail and quantity however we are optimistic that with time more people will come forward with additional reports, photo's and video's for further review and inclusion to UFOwisconsin.com. 

 Any further information is still being developed as we review the reports, photo's and video's as they are made available to us here at UFOwisconsin.com. 

 We will have several reports posted on UFOwisconsin.com as soon as we feel that as many reports have been filed with us as to not taint or distort any witness's perspective of the night's events.  That being said we hope to hear from you all who have something to share about the sighting through our simple online reporting form found at http://www.ufowisconsin.com/report.html or by easily following the links off of the home page at www.ufowisconsin.com. 

 Sorry for the lack of info in this message, hope you all can understand and wait for the results to come into us.  We will post them as soon as we can.  Thanks again for everyone's interest in this.

What to expect:

 -UPDATED SCHEDULE! Bill Benson to kick off UFO Daze 2004 with a short Welcome and Introduction at 1:00 p.m.  Noah Voss to speak briefly following Bill's introduction starting at 1:15 p.m..  Full schedule below. 

 -NO COVERCHARGE! 

 -UFO Daze attendee's typically start arriving around noon, day of the festival (Saturday July 17th 2004).  A fair amount of people usually stay later into the dark of night sky watching for things less than identified so feel welcome participate. 

 -UFOwisconsin.com in conjunction with GetGhostGear.com Enterprises will have a booth set up outside for easy access gained by all.  Visit our booth and learn more about UFOwisconsin, The W-Files, and some of the many different projects currently under way.  Booth will be open by noon through whenever people stop, stopping by.  Most likely through early evening. 

 -A podium will be set up in the dinning room of Bill Benson's Hideaway where speakers will be giving presentations.  No list of speakers currently available.  Speakers will consist of people in the UFO and paranormal industry from around the state.  Web site owners, book authors and UFO organization leaders will round out those speaking. 

 -Are ya feelin lucky?  Raffle tickets will be made available for purchase at GetGhostGear.com Enterprises booth.  As of right now we have two prizes first of which is a Tri-Field EMF Meter $140.00 value, one of GetGhostGear.com's best selling products.  Second prize will be an aluminum hard sided, lockable, padded sectioned portable investigation case (priceless for hauling your equipment around in the back of your car for those impromptu investigation opportunities, otherwise around $40.00). 

 -The local chapter of the Lions Club will be grilling fresh Wisconsin hamburgers and brats for sale.  Don't miss these good ol' local boys cookin mid-afternoon. 

 -Looking for a new book to put on your night stand?  Look no further.  Visit GetGhostGear.com Enterprises booth outside at the event and peruse through some book and magazine publications that will be made available for purchase at the event while supplies last (orders can be placed for delivery after UFO Daze). 

 -Purchase drinks from the full bar menu offered inside Bill Benson's Hideaway, as long as people are around to enjoy them.

The views from Bill Benson's Hideaway are varied ones to be sure.  Picturesque Long Lake skirted by Dundee Mountain ringed all through with classic Wisconsin woods.  Come all, bring your friends and enjoy the atmosphere with everyone.
