I believe it was in 1978 - I was with my young daughter and first noticed the object above my
house in Mequon. It was about dusk. Back then Brown Deer Road east of Highway 57 was a two lane
road, and we followed the object down 57 and east on Brown Deer Road. There were no other cars
around. The object was round with some white lights, silent, and couldn't have been more than 100
feet overhead. It was large, but I couldn't guess the size. We followed it to about Range Line
Road, and stopped. When we stopped, so did the object. More lights went on, and I remember them
to be white, not colored. I could be wrong; it was a long time ago. They did resemble windows. I
wanted to get out, but my daughter was very young at the time, and ready to panic. We drove on
to Northridge, and it followed us. I parked at Boston Store, and we could see it very clearly
hovering above the stores across the street. We stood there for a while looking at it, then went
In the store. The whole incident lasted about half an hour.
