Details of Incident:
We saw three flashing lights that were lined up in a row. They were flashing in sequence. Two flashes,
pause, three flashes, pause, four flashes, pause, and then repeated. The front light was amber and the
others were white. At first, to the naked eye, it looked like they were all connected. But, then when
we got the binoculars out, it looked like only the front light was attached to the next segment and
the other segments were separate. It appeared to have some sort of windows in it and it was cigar
shaped. Suddenly, the rear lights split apart and flew in different directions. Then, as it got
further away, it "realigned" into one cigar shaped craft that was headed toward Outagamie County
Airport. My wife called the airport and an airline employee called the control tower. The employee
called her back and said that the tower had not seen anything as I described, on radar. This was the
second time I saw these craft. I also saw them three nights before on August 27th, when we saw only
two similar lights. I've never seen anything like it, and would love to know if anyone else saw
this phenomena.
