My husband and I were sitting outside when he looked towards the southeast and said "What is that?" I stood up and started walking towards it. It was above the treetops and I estimate it was over possibly highway 60 going east, but traveling at a very slow rate of speed. It started to disappear behind trees in front of me, so I turned for a second to try to take a couple of steps backward to get a different perspective. When I turned back around it was gone. I asked my husband where it went and he said it just did a right angle and went upwards at an extremely high rate of speed. From what I remember, the object was round and had lights which were colored around the sides. It was definitely not a plane. There was no noise. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. I get goose bumps thinking about it. When I was standing there watching it, however, I was drawn closer out of enormous couriosity. Apparently, this is not the only sighting during this time because I spoke with a neighbor and they said that this object had appeared on several other occasions during the same week traveling around highway 60 going east.
