Details of Incident:
It was a pretty clear night when I first saw what I thought were two satellites directly
overhead. I thought it a bit odd the way they criss-crossed, but figured with the amount of
stuff orbiting out there it was possible. A couple of minutes later, I saw a single point of
light moving north at a fairly slow speed. It was west of town. I was waiting to see if it
would blink out and it did. Now, I've seen dozens of these over the past 2 years, and they usually
fly horizontally for a few seconds and blink out. They were at varying heights & varying
brightness. They are not falling stars. Anyway, i walked from the front to the backyard and was
sitting there there for a few minutes when I saw something east of my house traveling west at a
fairly low altitude almost directly over me. The only reason I could see it was because it was
a little lighter than the background of the sky behind it. It was V-shaped with fairly well
defined outside lines but what freaked me out was it was almost transparent. (Kind of reminded me
of that thing on that Predator movie.) As soon as it was a little bit west of me, I couldn't see
it anymore. I'd have to say it scared me a little bit. It was moving way too fast to be a flock
of geese. I was in the US Air Force & worked on F-4's, F-16's, C-130's, & CH-3 helicopters, so
I know a few things about flight & aircraft, and I don't think for one minute these things I've
seen are what you'd call "conventional aircraft". Thanks for giving people the platform for reporting
these sightings. I'm glad I finally decided to do this.
