I also saw the lights on Oct. 9 and strongly disagree that they were kites of any kind. I live to the north of Witter Field where kites are flown but I observed the lights to the north of my house. There is absolutely no way that these lights were kites. My friends and I watched the lights for about 45 minutes. I don't know of any kites that could fly in such a way these lights were. The lights were all over the sky. All I can say is they were magnificent and would like to see them again.
