Details of Incident:
I just read the account of the Stealth Bomber shaped UFO seen on 11-27-2002
and wanted to note, in the interest of completeness, that I did see a Stealth Bomber flying
over Madison on Saturday, I believe, Nov. 16th. It appeared very low to the ground for about 2
seconds and was very visible as it was banking, turning north. I saw it again at a much
higher altitude about 20 seconds later, heading back east. It was very loud even at the higher
altitude. Apparently, it was in town as part of some football game stunt over the stadium, but
everyone I asked later had no idea that it was going to be flying over. It was rather
surprising to see a Stealth Bomber in broad daylight flying over the middle of Madison.
Perhaps related to the other sighting, I did see an aircraft with the light configuration
detailed on the 11-27 report fly by last night. Two bright "headlights" and red lights
underneath, though they were flashing. It was coming from the south, going north. It sounded
like a jet, but I could not make out the shape through my binoculars too clearly. My impression
at the time was that it was an F-16.
Note: There is a news report posted in the news section regarding a Stealth Bomber seen
over Camp Randall on November 16th. You can read it here
