Details of Incident:

I was walking with my boyfriend on a trail near the lake in Kegonsa State Park, when this thing shot out of the trees. It startled us, but we didn't pay attention to it at first. We were just passing a clearing in the trees when we saw it again. It was sort of a roundish oval metal object like nothing I've ever seen before. It was so strange. There wasn't really any light coming from it, just the moonlight illuminating the silhouette. It actually seemed to absorb the light, becoming darker than the night sky beyond it. We kept walking, although at a faster pace, toward the station parking lot were our car was. It reappeared several more times throughout the walk back. Then, all of a sudden there was this tremendous whoosh of air and a high pitched thrum that hurt my ears, and it was gone. We practically ran to the car after it left. We didn't see it at all after that.
