Date: March 15, 2003 6PM
Location: Madison
County: Dane

Source: UFO Wisconsin Report by Jon S.

Details of Incident:

My wife and I were driving in Madison on the northeast side of town (Northport Drive area) when we saw what appeared to be a meteorite falling from the sky toward the ground, it had a silver glow and a tail pointing upward away from the object. We tried to follow the object as it fell and we noticed what looked like to airplanes flying toward it, one passed directly under the object, the other did not come as close to it. After about 5 to 10 minutes it was to low and dropped behind buildings and we lost it, I think that its landing point would have been quite a bit northeast of the city. I don't think it was any type of plane/vehicle as it never changed its direction, only continued toward the ground.
