Date: February 4, 2004      Approximately 11 p.m.
Location: Hwy 33, just West of Saukville
County: Ozaukee

Details of Incident:

I was driving along HWY 33 and existing Saukville heading West toward West Bend when at first I noticed what appeared to be an almost straight line of three very opaque looking amber lights moving very low and slowly toward the East.  They were just off the road on the south side.  Then I noticed several cars pulled over on the side of the road so I pulled over too, right after I pulled over more cars in the west bound lane just stopped right in the middle of the highway.  People were looking and getting excited rolling down thier windows to tell eachother it had to be a UFO.  Cars were pulled over in the east bound lane as well but I could not tell that until I drove away, rounded a curve, and saw them.  There was no sound at all and they were very low, not too far above the treelines.  If a plane had been that low I would have been running for cover thinking it was going to crash on my car.  The interesting thing was the way they moved, the lights.  There were thr!
ee seperate lights but the moved as if the were either connected or very coordinated.  As they hovered slowly near the road, the line of lights would slowly form right angles and perfect equliatteral triangles.  Once in triangle form the whole triangle appeared to rotate very slowly both clockwise and counterclockwise as the lights as a whole sowly moved northeast closer to the road and eventually right over the road.  I was so busy looking up, I did not realize until that time that all the other cars that were stoppped in the west bound lane were gone.  I then became afraid.  Since getting abducted by aliens was not on my schedule that day, I drove away west on HWY 33 fast.  As I did this, I lost sight of the lights that were directley overhead and now behind me.  But as I was tring to get one last look it seemed one of the lights blurred really fast away from the others.  But then I was out of range and could not tell for sure, it could have been becuase my vehicle was mov!
ing and I was getting a little freaked out. The other people who were still on the east bound lane watching may know whether it did or not.  I was on the phone with my husband when this all happened.  He called saukville police dept. from another phone and repoted the lights and traffic backed up on 33.  I have not heard any information locally about anyone else seeing or reporting this event, or what if anything the police saw.  I do know at least a dozen,  or maybe two, people saw the same thing I did that night. And I really regret running away!  I should have stayed to see what it did next.  Oh well.
