Date: August 14, 2004
Location: Mondovi Area
County: Pepin County, Wisconsin

Details of Incident:
I received this report at my place of employment. I took this
information from a witness who was viewing the incident live as we spoke on the
phone.
Caller stated there were eleven witnesses all together working on a vehicle for
a demolition derby by an old stone building just off County Rd H 8-10 miles
north of Mondovi, Wi. For several hours they had been watching lights which
they felt were strange that were doing "weird" things.
In the NE sky they saw a light that was larger than the surrounding stars and
that was rapidly changing colors. On at least one occasion the light darted
around at extremely sharp angles. Another light such as this was also seen in
the NW, and two more were in the S/SE.
When using binoculars to view the biggest light, the one in the NE, he stated it
looked like a Christmas tree. They saw a conventional aircraft cross the sky
what appeared to be underneath the light in question.
The caller mentioned an article involving a sighting which appeared this week in
the Mondovi Herald newspaper, and thought this could be related.
