Details of Incident:
It was clear and no wind, my son was the first to see it. We were
standing in the corner of land, We are about a 1/2 mile from the road on the eage of a feild. We were standing next to the truck, He looked to the North
East, and saw two white blinking lights. They were about 100 yards away, and
about 100 feet above the tree line. moving at a slow but steady rate. I then was
looking at it, and it looked like one flashing white light, with another
flashing white light following the first one. They were moving from the right of
us to the left. the lights were blinking two blinks at a time.a secound
enterfolds between each blinking.
It seemed, and looked, like white lights at the ends of a planes wings. But they
were one behind the other. They moved leavel with the trees, for about 1/2 a
mile.
At that time I was still thinking that they were, lights on a plane. But then
what change my mind. It stopped. And hovered, I know that a plane can not just
stop in flight.
The one thing was to, that it did not seem to slow down. It just all of a sudden
just stopped. it hovered untill I was blinking my truck lights at it. But what
it did then shocked both me and my son. When I was blinking the lights on the
truck, it did a 100 and 90 degree turn and started moving right at us. But now
the lights were side by side, moving at us, not one after the other.
At this time I was still blinking my truck lights at it, 2 to 3 times a blink.
It moved towards use for about 10 seconds. And then it started to drift to the
left, moving back towards were it came from. But when it drifted lift the lights
then seemed to be one right behind the other again. Almost like it was flying
sideways, at any givin time.
Then the next thing that happend, Blow us away. At this time it was right above
the trees, moving north west. The lights were still blinking at 2 blinks every
few seconds. So I started to blink my truck lights the same way they were
blinking. 2 blinks at a time. I did this about 2 or 3 times. But then the light
changed from blinking at 2 times every few secounds, to 3 times every few
seconds. they changed!
I to then started to do the same for about again, 3 to 4 times. Then they went
back to the same 2 blinks. Almost like they were letting us know they saw us.
It stayed on its heading, west.
We then went down the drivway so that we could see were it was going, It was
then at this time moving over a feild next to the house. It was heading away
from us Still at about 100 feet above the trees.And the lights at that time were
side by side. It stayed on its heading for about 1/2 mile, when it then turned
left to the north, As it turned the lights then again seemed to be one after the
other, it then seemed to go down, it then went behind a tree line at the eage of
the field, and we then lost sight of it.
We stayed looking to see if would come back. But after about a hour we gave up.
We did not see a shape to it, And we were looking at it from time to time with
10x50 binoculars.
We as a family, look at the stars at night, but we never have seen anything like
this in all the years we have lived here. My son and I will never forget it.
We even are glad that we saw it together.
