it was about quarter to ten. Two of my good friends and I were driving to Gleason from Bloomville on Hwy. 17, when one of my friends asked us if we saw what he saw. Both of us agreed with him. It was a sphere, which was orange in color. It appeared to be over the town of Gleason, maybe a bit more to the east. We had no idea what it could have been. We weren't much of believers in UFO's until that night. The object was heading toward us (to the west). It was moving at a remarkable speed, and was VERY close to the ground when it got closer. When it appeared to be above us, higher off the ground at this time. We then decided to turn around and follow the object, simply because we had never seen anything like this, and probably never will. We followed it up to a corner on Hwy 17 in Bloomville, and it kept heading west. We turned down Hwy J which was in a westerly direction. We got to an open field on Hwy J, which was where the Hillclimbs are held. We were heading north. Still the object was heading west, very low to the ground again. when we came to the next corner on J which went to the west, we saw it one last time... it shot to the north across the road, very high off the ground again, and it was out of sight. We drove up to where J meets hwy 51 and we headed north on the freeway hoping to get another glimpse of this remarkable object. We went all the way to the Tomahawk exit but never saw it again.
