Details of Incident:

Ironically, my friend and I were driving back from Appleton after attending The Unexplained Conference in Appleton, WI on October 15th, 2005. It was dusk, but still light out at approximately 8:30 PM that evening as we continued on our way home to the Village of Plover. As we drove near Standing Rocks Park, which is located approximately 7 miles to the west of the Village of Plover, I noticed an object to the right side of the vehicle. I immediately knew that something was most definitely not of a normal nature with this aircraft, given an individual's own unique definition of normal.

At first glance, I thought it was some sort of model aircraft. Being a paranormal investigator, I always carry my digital camera, video camera, and audio recorder with me at all times. This night, I had none of that equipment. A ridiculous regret in which I still feel to this day. However, my friend and I came to realize what we were seeing as we actually pulled over to the side of the road and stopped, after driving over the next hill. The object hovered about 50 feet above the treeline and forest. I mean, it didn't budge. At that point, I became a bit frightened, as I knew what we were witnessing, now only a small field away from our vehicle. The triangular shaped object, which I would describe as a purple color with vivid bright lights emitting from the bottom, appeared to be studying us. I felt that we had interrupted whatever it was doing, and that it most likely was not pleased. I had the distinct feeling that it didn't care to be studied or spotted. Within the next minute, this object, with its warm colored, purple and red sort of light protruding from the bottom, suddenly took off in a straight line to the southwest. I cannot possibly give you an estimate of the speed in which it was moving. Our eyes were unable to keep up with it as it left the scene.

We sat speechless for a minute, almost as if we wanted to deny what we had just seen, yet knowing full well that we couldn't. This was during a time when reports were coming in from people, over the radio and TV, some even that same night, that they had been seeing the same types of objects in the air.
