Details of Incident:
It was rather overcast that evening allot of storms in the area. I was out side cleaning the pool filter when something caught my attention out of my peripheral I saw a light dash across the sky. I asked Jay; did you see that. He said no. Where Venus usually sits in the sky we both noticed a very very bright object we thought was the planet. 1 Problem. As we watched it darted NE, N, and back to its position.
It also was on our side of the cloud cover. I called my wife and Sarah to look at what we were seeing. While the watched I went in and grabbed the 75X Binoculars. They too saw the object moving. So we began to watch it taking turns thru the binoculars. We all agreed it was not a star. It was like it was using the stars or planets usual location in the sky to hide. As I was watching it, it then broke off into 2. This was visible to the eye. But was extremely visible thru the binoculars.
This caused me to run in and get our sony 5.1 zoom digital.
This is were this get weird. I zoomed in on this object. The picture on my screen before I started taking photos was exactly what we were seeing. The pictures however looked like nothing we saw. You have to see the photos to appreciate it.
