Date of Incident: August 1st, 2008
Time of Incident: 10:00
Location of Incident: Hartford, Washington County

Source of Report: UFOWisconsin.com online sightings report form by Tim S.

Details of Incident:

The four of us were in the backyard enjoying the clear, starlit evening. We had noticed a few shooting stars and were wondering if there was a meteor shower. Then to the north, we noticed a rather bright object, slightly larger than a 'normal star', that was moving rather quickly. (it appeared to be moving at the speed of a fast flying plane). There were no 'additional' lights on it, and it wasn't shimmering, and it was moving east. then after a bit (approx 60 seconds), it appeared to turn direction away/up, and leave our atmosphere. It just sort of dimmed out. There were no clouds in the sky.
