UFOwisconsin.com Continues!

Hello,

My name is Noah Voss and I am the new proprietor of UFOwisconsin.com. I consider this opportunity an honor and a privilege and would like to take this time and introduce myself to some of the people who have worked with UFOwisconsin.com in the past including all of the current members. I look forward to helping evolve the site to new and exciting levels while maintaining the great foundation that Jennifer and John started with that has been beneficial to the industry and the state alike.

I won't exploit your time with trite information about myself however if anyone is deathly curious or simply interested please feel free to shoot me an e-mail and ask away! I can't promise I'll answer everything but I'm sure I'll enjoy hearing from everyone and reply to all I can.

I also wanted to thank every one for their patience and understanding as we are currently undergoing the assimilation of files, programs and procedures into our organizations resources. For us this means many things one of which is completely re-writing (as is with only minor administrative changes i.e. contact information etc.) the entire UFOwisconsin.com website regrettably utilizing a great amount of time. I can assure you all that once this is completed the discrepancies found on the site now (broken links etc. as a result of the ownership change) will be a thing of the past.

We have come to a very difficult decision which we have thought seriously about for several months. Effective February 1, 2004, we will no longer be running UFOWisconsin. We are very proud of the success we have had with UFOWisconsin, with hundreds of people submitting their reports to us, thousands of people visiting the site daily, top results in every search engine, and the newspaper/media popularity of the site. However, we have decided to move on to other ventures.

We would like to take this time to thank the following people:

Jim Aho, for giving us the initial 72 files to launch this website, and for his support throughout the years,

Bill Burt, for designing many of our graphics,

Kevin Sturgis, for taking photographs at some of our events,

Krista Soloski, for her constant support,

Every individual who has submitted a UFO report to us,

Every individual who has attended one of our meetings or get togethers,

And countless others, too many to name, who have visited the site or helped out in ways too numerous to mention.

I would like to take this time to thank all those that have visited and who have contributed to UFOWisconsin.

As the site grows into maturity and the demand for information increases regarding UFO activity in the state of Wisconsin, we will need your financial help. This site is a huge endeavor to keep it up to date and current. You will not find another site that has this to offer you, the viewers.

We are asking for your help to donate whatever you can afford at this time even if it’s a dollar. The donations will be used to gather information and to maintain this site and other areas of research.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you that have visited UFOWisconsin, helped promote its existence, and to those that have taken the courage to submit a report. Without the help of everyday citizens of Wisconsin and around the globe this information may never have been possible to bring to light. The information that is presented on this web site is how we receive the reports, we do not believe in filtering any information to the public. We hope that people will interpret the sightings to their own understanding. With more and more reports that are being submitted you can easily see that there is something going on in the skies over the state of Wisconsin and with your help we hope to find that cause.

With the growing popularity in the subject of UFO's in the media and society, we at UFOWisconsin felt it necessary to dedicate a site to our home state. With all the attention going to other areas of the country and overseas, we felt it was time to concentrate our efforts into one area.

Wisconsin is a state with a high number of UFO sightings, second to New Mexico. The people of Wisconsin need to know what is going on in their state and their own backyards in regards to the UFO phenomena. UFOWisconsin is dedicated to finding out whom or what is behind these phenomena.

We welcome all the people of Wisconsin to participate in our efforts. Whether you are a true believer or are skeptical, you will find what you are looking for here. We at UFOWisconsin will not take one side or the other. We will present all the information that we obtain and let the viewer decide what is real and what is not.

We welcome all to take part in our on-line reporting form, visit our discussion forum, find a local UFO hangout in your area, browse the news articles, or join a local UFO group. Whatever suites your fancy we have it here, and if we don't please offer your suggestion by checking our Contact Us page and sending us an E-mail to let us know.

Remember to keep your eyes on the skies and help Wisconsin find out what is happening in our state and communities.
